The President, Steve McDonald called the meeting to order at 7:35p.m. Introductions were made in the normal fashion of the Land Rover Club .
Past Events
1. AGM – Was held on Nov 10, 06.
2. Last Adopt a Highway cleanup was held on Dec 3, 2006. - Completed in 2 hours turn out was good – Pictures should be on site – Suggestion on being made on what the club should consider as our next community service.
Upcoming Events
1. Christmas Party of Lights – Dec 09, 06 – Sam's house between 6:00-10:00 pm-contest for the best decorated vehicle- Trey offered to bring his trailer for hay rides for the kids.
2. Elves&More- Dec 16, 2006- building bikes.-please sign up on the web site.
Future Events
1. Red Cross Certification program-still no dates have been finalized-
possibly Jan-March 07.
2. Doug has been asked if he would do two rallies in 2007- Doug has accepted.
3. BVORR- Possibly set up once a quarter – schedule an event.
4. Possible camping trip in February 07 weather permitting.
5. Trees Ranch – Trey's suggestion.
6. TMTC- Two clean ups per year.
7. ABA-Sergio is planning a trip to Moab in March 07, this will replace Sergio's CBA
8. The Big Trip for 07 is being discussed- Front runner is National Solihull Rally in
August 07- Any suggestions please throw out on web site.
Other Club News
Doug announces that Sam Simpson has passed – there will be a wake held –Doug has brought a map. Bill suggests that we should have a Sam Page on our web site for a month in Memory of Sam.
After the addition of the Sam Page- changes to the web site will be made-anyone with suggestions please speak up. Such as Past Presidents page, update members pages, change face of website, and so on.
Steve announced the news that the Land Rover North Store has talk of being sold to Sonic Automotive Group nothing is confirmed at this time.
Lance Miller will continue to do the Shirts and hats for the club. Thank you Lance.
